Has your child or teenager recently received an ADHD diagnosis?
You might be feeling relieved to have some answers but unsure what comes next.

At Cornwall Clinical Psychology, we often hear from parents who are looking for practical, compassionate support after a diagnosis is made. That’s why we created ADHD Next Steps — a separate service developed by Dr Pippa Moran to support families in the months following a diagnosis.

What Is ADHD Next Steps?

ADHD Next Steps is a post-diagnostic service designed specifically for parents of teenagers with ADHD. It offers:

  • A webinar series to help you understand ADHD and what works

  • Evidence-based strategies grounded in psychology

  • Tools to support emotional regulation, school relationships, family life, and independence

  • Self-paced resources and live Q&As

  • A chance to feel more confident and less alone

This is not a parenting course, but a support programme informed by clinical expertise and real family experience.

Who is it for?

  • Parents or carers of young people aged 10+

  • Families who have had a recent diagnosis (within 12–24 months)

  • Those looking for structured but flexible guidance without joining a full therapy process

I found the whole process very positive, I’ve spoke very highly of the service we received and have recommended it to many friends who are possibly wanting to go the private route.

The interactions with all professionals we saw was exemplary, My child also felt the same way which is huge.
